Abstract:Airborne LiDAR has been widely used in highway survey. In this paper, the feasibility of the application of the helicopter LiDAR in the reconstruction and extension of the highway has been studied. Ground control measurement, point cloud data acquisition, point cloud data processing and the application of results have been introduced. By analyzing the accuracy of point cloud data under the correction of 5 different ground control points, the LiDAR point cloud data have been analyzed, and the ground control has been demonstrated. Feasibility of plane point and elevation correction for airborne LiDAR point cloud data based on system points have been verified.
