Abstract:The treatment of goaf in gypsum mine is very difficult with high cost. In order to make a scientific decision on the prevention and controlling measures of the goaf in gypsum mine, the stability of the goaf needs to be accurately evaluated. Based on the analysis of the stability evaluation methods in various gypsum mine mined out areas, a comprehensive evaluation method which will combine the comprehensive evaluation method and the pillar safety factor method together is put forward in this paper. Taking the stability evaluation of a gypsum mine goaf as an example, the application process of the comprehensive evaluation method is introduced. As showed by the comprehensive evaluation results, 7 subareas in the goaf are in unstable state. The evaluation results are in good agreement with the surface observation results. It is showed that the evaluation process of the comprehensive evaluation method is simple and accurate. It will provide some references for the stability evaluation of other gypsum mine goaf.
