Abstract:By using satellite remote sensing, shallow stratigraphic section and single beam sounding data, the types of disaster geology in the coastal waters of Dongying have been studied, and the characteristics have been analyzed. The main types of hazard geology in coastal waters are coastal erosion and deposition, active faults, gully and scarp, residual topography, submarine landslides, shallow gas and buried ancient rivers. Coastal silt is the main part of the study area, and coastal erosion occurred in Gangkou section in Dongying city and Shazui section in Diaokou. Active faults exist widely in northern waters with the trend of NNE, and extend about 1km from east to west. The disaster geomorphology is mainly distributed in the front of the Yellow River Delta and the abandoned leaf flap in the north of the Yellow River Delta. The shallow gas is mainly located in the seabed of the offshore 20km and the water depth of 15~20m. The buried ancient river (ancient lake mooring) is distributed at the depth of about 8~20m of the seabed, and the depth of the top of the Ancient River Road (ancient lake mooring) is 7.1~15.2m. It is distributed throughout the underwater delta area.
