Abstract:The journal of "Shandong Land and Resources" is a provincial science and technology journals directed by Shandong Department of Land and Resources, and sponsored by Shandong Institute of Geological Sciences. It is a mutual learning and exchange platform of geological scholars of Shandong province. It has had a certain effect in the academic circle. In this paper, the development process of the journal of "Shandong Land and Resources" has been summarized, and the orientation of journals has been analyzed. It is regarded that the journal should be based on its own characteristics, the editing system should be optimized, the review process should be improved, the editorial quality should be improved, and the diversification of sources should be promoted in order to better serviced for geological scholars.
