Abstract:ErdaogouBeihuiyao silver polymetallic deposit is located in the west of Dawopu Shanghuangqi tectonic magmatic metallogenic belt. It is a intersection region of many deep faults. Tectonic, magmatic hydrothermal activity developed well and constituted main metallogenic geological background of this area. A number of large and mediumsized leadzincsilvergold deposits, such as Yingfang silverleadzinc deposit, Beichagoumen leadzinc deposit and Niujuan silvergold deposit have been found. Regional deposit forming is closely related to magmatic activity in Yanshan period and tectonic activity. Through soil geochemical survey data analysis with the scale of 1∶10000, three elements as Pb, Ag and Zn enriched in this area. Main oreforming elements combination developed abnormally. Four combination anomalies have been circled, and geochemical anomaly is consistent with ore body. Eights mineralization alteration zonesThave been found. Shape, occurrence and mineralization of ore bodies are strictly controlled by faults. Through analysis on different geological geochemical characteristics of trace elements, it is showed that the formation of Ag, Pb, Zn elements belong to the rich and strong dispersion type in Yanshan granites and Hongqiyingzi group. It provides a rich source of materials for mineralization. It is a good sign to identify the alteration zone, and it is also an important indicator to find silver polymetallic ore. ErdaogouBeihuiyao silver polymetallic deposit belongs to middlelow temperature hydrothermal deposit controlled by fracture structures. Based on the analysis of regional metallogenic geological conditions and geological characteristics of the mining area, the ore controlling factors, the source of oreforming materials and the types of deposits in this area have been summarized.
