Abstract:Based on the GEO STUDIO software, appling the theory of statistical mechanics of rock mass, slope stability under different working conditions in CHE Water Control Project in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has been analyzed. As show by the results, engineering geological conditions are complicated in the study area. Faults, compressed fragmentized belts and rock veins developed widely. There are 5 groups preferred structural planes in both sides of the slope. The sensitivity of the parameters in both sides have been analyzed. The stability factor rate curve slope of full of cohesive force is larger than the friction angle, so the slope stability is more sensitive to the change of cohesive force value. The stability factor is greater than 1 in natural condition, storage condition and quick rising and falling of water level. That is to say, the slope is in steady state.
