Abstract:Cangyi iron ore belt is one of the important iron ore belts in Shandong province. Geological exploration work has been carried out for many years, but lack of overall understanding of the geological metallogenic belt. Through analysis on geological background and geological characteristics, tectonic features, aeromagnetic anomaly characteristics of Cangyi mineralization belt, metallogenic regularity and prospecting have been summarized. It is showed that ancient Taishan rock group shancaoyu formation formation developed well. It is mainly composed of biotite granulite, accompanied with amphibolite, amphibolite, magnetite quartzite and magnetite hornblende quartz rocks. It belongs to banded quartz magnetite type construction. A series of close double fold were formed in this area. They are Taibai syncline, Shiyan anticline, Xinzhuang syncline and Houdayaobei anticline from north to south. Iron belt has obvious residual gravity high anomaly. Thus, 5 iron ore belts have been divided, they areⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ,Ⅴore belt. It is pointed out that the metallogenic belt in deep and aeromagnetic anomaly edge are new prospecting direction. It will provide some references for the prospecting work.
