Abstract:Remote sensing interpretation work played an important role in regional geological survey. Through geological survey work of four maps with the scale of 1∶50000 in Liuhu area in Inner Mongolia, surface geological interpretation, image processing and multiband data acquisition in serious covering areas have been carried out. Dure to serious covering and poor interpretation, advanced technology, the coordination and field survey should be paid more attention. A large number of field investigations have been carried out in the early stage of research and verification. It has improved the accuracy of the translation results in a large extent. The study successfully distinguished the relationship between strata, intrusive rocks and structures. Through field verification, it is more accurate in geological body distribution and fracture interpretation, achieves better geological effect, and greatly improves the speed and quality of regional geological survey and mapping. It has become an important means in regional geological work.
