GeowayCASS Data Conversion Program Based on Visual Basic

CASS数据格式是一种通用的招投标格式，具有良好的符号系统，在大比例尺地形图的编辑中使用较为广泛，但CASS是在AutoCAD软件的基础上开发的，受AutoCAD平台自身影响，CASS在曲线编辑、房檐改正等方面的功能存在着一定不足，而Geoway是专业的地形图编辑软件在这些方面存在着优势，开发一种Geoway——CASS数据的转换程序迫在眉睫，该文论述了如何使用Visual Basic语言开发Geoway—CASS数据转换程序。

Abstract:

CASS is a general data of bidding. It has a good symbol system and being used widely in the editor of large scale topographic maps. CASS is developed on the basis of AutoCAD, so it has disadvantages of curve editor and revision of the eaves of buildings by the influence of the AutoCAD. However, Geoway has advantages of above aspects as a professional software for topographic maps editor, so it is urgent to develop a conversion program from Geoway to CASS. How to develop a conversion program from Geoway to CASS by Visual Basic language has been introduced in this paper.
