Abstract:Wulagen PbZn tectonic structures locate in east part of Wulagen syncline in kashi depression of southwest depression of Tarim platform depression. Zinc and lead ore bodies developed in south and north south edges and its core parts of the syncline, and controlled by secondary section of the first rock property in Palaeogne Wulagen formation. Strata were composed of sandy conglomerate, sandstone, and mudstone, which were made up of 25 grain sequences and 5 rhythmic layers. Each rhythmic layer has comparability between north and south edges, but is different slightly. Zinc and lead ore bodies were mainly developed in rhythmic layers formed by sand and conglomerate. It indicated an unstable environment. As showed by geochemical characteristics of orebearing strata, clastic sources were felsic igneous rock and quartzite, which were formed in the active continental margin and island arc. Therefore, it is concluded that mineralization occurred in the environment of shallow sea delta to littoral facies.
