Abstract:Rapid development of urbanization has led to the expansion of construction using land and the reduction of arable land in our country. Due to low capacity of farmers in paying the cost in the urbanization process, land has become the tool to share the wealth for the urbanization in rural areas. It has caused "empty villages" frequently , "occupy the land both in rurual areas and in urban area", and extensive land use. Due to obvious geographical advantages, environmental advantages and resources advantages of suburban villages, construction using land has been expanded, and intensive land use becomes more serious. In this paper, through study on village morphology evolution process in Pocaowa village in nearly 12 years, the reasons of land abuse, arable land decreasing and increasing per capita construction using land have been studied. Under the premise of protecting land property rights of farmers, land should be "flowed", and the dormant resources be"lived". It not only can solve the bottleneck of the land "in situ urbanization ", but also make quality of life of the villagers realize "civilization" truly.
