Abstract:Caiyuan lead deposit is an lowtemperature hydrothermal shallow deposit. The type of ore body is leadbearing barite vein type, and the scale and shape are strictly controlled by tensiontorsional fault structures. The source layer is Laiyang group which is close to veins, and the medium of mineralization derives from atmospheric precipitation. In this article, through analysis and study on geological characteristics, orecontrolling factors and origin of mineral deposit, by collecting and studying the information of the similar deposits in the same area, metallogenic model has been established primarily. On the basis of analyzing ore prospecting symbols, the direction for geological prospecting in this area has been put forward, and the prospecting degree of surrounding areas in this mine should be strengthened in order to discover new ore bodies.
