Abstract:Through depth analysis of geological environment conditions in Tai’an city, interactions between underground space development and geological environment factors have been described systematically. On the one hand, the development of urban underground space is controlled by surface water, water level of groundwater, water quality and geological hazards, such as karst collapse. And in turn, the development and construction of underground space influence and change the urban groundwater environment, soil environment, and are likely to increase the odds of karst collapse. So it is recommended that geological environment protection should be strengthened when urban underground space is planned and constructed.
