Abstract:Nowadays, with the rapid process of urbanization, development and utilization of urban underground space has become the important tool of expanding building space capacity, relieving the jamming situation and enhancing the environment quality. To deepen the recognition of Tai'an urban underground space and fully utilize the potential reserve space resource, through collecting drilling logging, geological maps and topographical maps, with the help of mapGIS 3D modeling software, 3D geological model of Tai'an city has been set up. Geological information, such as rock and soil in engineering projects can be expressed in an intuitive way. It will provide reliable geologic bases for the development of urban underground space in Tai'an city.
