Abstract:Farmland and basic farmland protection are important contents of land management and land use planning. Integrity and connectivity of distribution pattern of basic farmland should be adjusted in the new land use planning and database construction. By using landscape index, the integrity and connectivity of basic farmland protection zone have been studied in Licheng district of Jinan city. It is showed that, except patch area standard deviation, the other indexes, such as average patch area, patch area variation coefficient, patch edge density, largest patch index, and mean euclidean nearest-neighbor all indicate more connectivity of basic farmland protection zone after layout adjustment. It is simple and easy method for identifying the integrity and connectivity of basic farmland protection zone.
