Abstract:Based on geochemical data obtained from the national project about the prevention and control of soil contamination, soil chemical elements in LaolingHekou area in Shandong province have been studied. It is showed that among the first level nutritive elements in soil, organic matter, nitrogen and phosphorus were relatively deficient, while potassium was rich. Meanwhile, in the second level nutritive elements, calcium oxide and magnesium oxide were relatively short and sulfur content was abundant. In other beneficial and trace nutritive elements, iron oxide, manganese, molybdenum and boron were deficient, while the content of chlorine was high and hardly lack. The main barriers for improving land productivity were soil salinization and soil heavy metal contamination. According to the values of soil integrated fertility index, combining with basic surveying results, some countermeasures are put forward to improve land productivity, such as scientific fertilization, elimination of soil obstacle, remediation of heavymetalcontaminated soil and other effective counermeasures. It will provide a good technological support for the planning and development of goodquality and highbenefit agriculture.
