In order to clarify effects of discharged arsenic wastewater from livestock farm to shallow groundwater quality in northern Shandong plain, through analysis and study on arsenic content of water samples collected from livestock farm discharged wastewater and other water samples collected from the whole areas, it is showed that arsenic-bearing wastewater has caused some pollution to nearby groundwater. It also shows that the arsenic discharged wastewater by livestock farm has become an important source of arsenic in shallow groundwater. This conclusion can provide certain reference basis for antifouling and pollution treatment of shallow groundwater and limit arsenic feed adding.
