Abstract:

Characteristics of occurrence and present condition of coal resource in Tai'an city have been introduced, coal development situation faced by the old coal mines has been analyzed, ways and practices carried out by old mining areas for digging the potentiality of coal mines, and extending service life of the mines have been summarized, and countermeasures for further development of old mining areas have been put forward as well. It will have an important practical role and longterm significance.
