Abstract:Medium-basic volcanic rocks in Bamudi formation which is mainly composed of andesite and andesitic agglomerate breccia lava is widly distributed in Jimo area of eastern Shandong province. The corresponding Bamudi volcanic cycle is the strongest stage of volcanism in this area, including effusive facies-explosive facies-alternative stong explosive facies-subvolcanic facies. The sedimentary sandstone in the internal occurred as ptygmatic-massive type, interlayered type and vein type. It will help to learn lithofacies characteristics, eruption sequences and tectonic activities history.
