Abstract:Electrical logging which is based on differences of rock electrical characteristics plays an important role in metal minerals and groundwater resource exploration. The well system is more commonly used in the apparent resistivity logging device. In this paper, through analysis and contrast of geological background, drilling strata and electric measurement data in wells, origin which caused electrical anomalies and searching for groundwater have been studied. It is regarded that when the negative apparent resistivity anomalies in the wells is corresponding with spontaneous potential anomalies, it is usually the favorable section for searching groundwater (or even expected to find favorable areas of high temperature hot water).
