Abstract:By using the theory of seismic sedimentology, using 90 ° phase shift technology and formation slices technology, combining with drilling and logging wells datas, distribution characteristics of sand in three sequences and sedimentary system of No.682 well in Binnan area in Paleogene Shahejie formation have been studied in detail. It is showed that turbidite sand bodies are well developed in eastern and southeastern area. The distribution square of turbidite sand bodies are large in early period of sequenceⅠ, while they are small in middle and later period; the distribution square of turbidite sand bodies are large in early and late period of sequence Ⅱ, while they are small in middle period; sequence Ⅲ is mainly distributed in southern area. It is proved that the method is not only simple, but also can reduce the diachronous problem. It is suitable for carrying out analysis and study on wedge type sedimentary sequence.
