Abstract:In this paper, the functional architecture of three-dimensional positioning and automatic monitoring system in underground mining has been designed, the design principles of each modules and its functions have been introduced in detail. By using three-dimensional GIS technology and Java3D technology, a visualization platform for underground mining has been set up. Combining with underground staff positioning system and remote monitoring system of mining production, three-dimensional positioning and automatic monitoring system in underground mining have been established. It can realize real-time monitoring of underground mining, personnel real-time location, reduce security risks from mining, improve the supervision of mining, and provide information services for mineral resources development and protection, and safety management in mines.
