Abstract:The study of coal mine gas is not only in relation to the value in use, but also the personal safety of many miners. Bucun, as one of the most important part of the central of Shandong, which is an important base of energy supply in Shandong, is of self-evident value in the coal-mine gas research. Based on the principles of sedimentology, structural geology, coal geology, mathematical models of process analysis, geological structures, the lithology of floor and the roof of coal bed, the magmatic rock, hydrogeologic condition and the basic rock thickness are analyzed, the absolute gas emission rate is predicated quantitatively in Bucun, the isoline graph of absolute gas emission rate is made as well. It is showed that Bucun coal mine belongs to low gas mines area, the absolute gas emission rate appears the trend of lower in the west and higher in the east. It is mainly controlled by the Bucun syncline. The above predication anaylsis will play a guiding role in the later production.
