Abstract:

For thousands of years, Chinese people has a special hobby to jade. It has been integrated into the ancient jade culture. It will effect spirit, wil, moral and philosophy of the Chinese nation. Study and interpretation to jade is an elegant art. It will not only recognize jade from a cultural perspective, but also learn more special knowlege about jade and know present condition of emerald market. In this paper, several large scale domestic jade markets, characteristics of jade market and historical development of Chinese jade market have been described in detail.
