Abstract:Tai'an city is an easy happening area of karst land collapse. Based on the distribution characteristics of Tai'an karst land collapse and the basic forming conditions and analyzing direct factors to induce the karst land collapse, it is regarded that deep water level leads to increasing hydraulic gradient, and increasing land collapse. Surface water caused by rain not only increased the upper part of the load, but also taking away some clay particles in the surface and to reduce carrying capacity. Vibration generated by the additional stress induced collapse on the ground, and vibration induced collapse mechanism and the coupling effect have relation with damage accumulation.
