Abstract:

Mesozoic continental deposits widely occur under Bamudi formation (subvolcanic rocks) of Qingshan group from Linyi to Tancheng. It has been named Wangshi group up to now. According to its occurrence position, rock combinations, palaeo-biocharacteristics and regional contrast, it should be named Laiyang group.
