Abstract:

The fossil insects(Diptera,Nematocera)described in the present paper were collected from the 3rd member of Laiyang formation in Laiyang Bas- in,Shandong Province by the authors in autumn of 1984.They contain 10 species within 10 genera and 5 families,of which 8 species,6genera and 1 family are new.Two species were known from the Upper Jurassic of Zhe- jiang and Hebei Provinces.The authors tend to believe that Laiyang for- mation is of the Late Jurassic age.The diagnoses of the new genera and fa- mily are gi...
