Abstract:

The voluminous basement complex occurred in Western Shandong,which has a regional strike in NW or NNW,underlies the Tumeen Group which has an isotopic age older than 738 m.y. Some important geological problems in terms of this hilly land have nnt yet been settled.A study of volcano-sedimentary series is very important for understanding the basement crystalline rocks.In addition,a thorough research of geological evants of Early pre-cambrian has a great significance on the evolution of the crust.A tentative t...
